In a galaxy not far away there is a newly discovered life form in it's evolutionary stage. Since the dawn of man we humans have wanted to control the universe. Now you can control your own universe. No klingons or chewies. Since my younger years I have wanted to learn how to control things with micro-computers. Some electronics nerds started with Heath Kits and many others built their own Apple II clones. There was also the Altair and KIM-1 computers. These computers started it all. I learned by starting with a BASIC programming language. BASIC stands for: Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code BASIC came built into some computers such as the TRS-80 and Commodore PET. Learning to programming a computer can open many doors for you. In the end you could program a computer to do just that "Open a door for you". The key to this revolutionary universe is an open mind. Through this open source project I intend to teach you a thing or two about the micro-computer world.
